40% of people that are hospitalized are pushed either into lifelong debt or below the poverty line.Furthermore, over 23% of patients don't have enough money to afford treatment and 63% lack regular access to necessary medications.Healthcare and treatment costs have inflated 10–12% a year and with more advancements in medicine, costs of treatment will continue to rise.
Without financial ability, those in distant locations cannot afford to access healthcare.
